Will riding my bicycle at home everyday for 30-40 mins and burning 400-500 cals.help

yes, cardio... which is what you are doing riding the bike... will help you tone your legs and lose fat

the 2nd part about how much you will lose varies from person to person, but i would say a lb or two every 2 weeks is manageable...

3rd part, this would depend on your genetics, some girls just have large legs, others have chicken legs... it will depend on your routine, but i would suggest mixing up your routine with some running and/or swimming

4th, strength training will help, but i would focus more on the cardio... do that 3 or 4 times in a week and use one day to do strength training (using weights and such), the other 2 days are rest... but make them days that are not next to each other, like a thurs. and a monday...

5th, refer to 1-4... pay attention to your diet, and good luck
 
tone legs and lose fat...? i want to lose weight overall not spot reduce.. i am 160 pounds and im 15.. 5'4
the chubbyest part of my body is legs and butt. if i continue doing that routine everyday and eating about 1,400 cals everyday how much would i lose weight in a month?? help me. should i do strength training too? i dont want my legs bulking up cuz they tend to do that since there fat already....so help me out. wil lthe bike alone tone them while burning fat from all over my body. ??
