will repubs stop calling healthcare reform socialist since health insurance companies...

That's the big lie, go listen to Obama's words on video where he strongly supports a single payer system. Why in the world you bury your head in the sand when the truth is right there in your face is amazing.

Who says it will continue to exist?

You? What is your source of information for this? Obama? Pelosi? Reid? Frank?

Start to think for yourself. Common Sense just might kick in.

By the way. Thor Torkenson the Government does run an auto company. They own the controlling majority of shares. Remember Obama fired the CEO which is completely wrong and unconstitutional. So there you go, Socialism. By your own admittance.

I doubt they all will but some republicans want health care reform and there are some democrats that do not want health care reform. So it would be better to say will the nay sayer`s stop calling health care reform socialist.

So then tell me, just how long do you think private healthcare will last when big government starts offering a policy for $10/month for the same policy offered by the ABC Insurance Company who charges $45/month?

you apparently didn't read the private analyses of the bills.

the Lewin Group -- America's largest and most experienced health care analysis outfit -- estimated the losses of the industry due to the house bills at 88m insured out of 150m served -- last I checked that's 59% loss of business.

They also said that 1295 of the 1300 health insurance companies would likely go out of business because they can't compete with the ability of the government to dictate prices to providers, avoid taxes, and pass the admin costs to the taxpayer.

this was reported at investors.com over a month ago -- wake up and start getting some of your news from sources other than the MSM

I don't think it's socialist. That word is overused by people that don't understand the meaning. Socialism is government controlling the means of production...plain and simple. If the government controlled the pharmaceutical industry, or let's say a couple of the big three auto makers, that would be socialism. Health care reform currently on the table isn't socialism. It's just fiscally irresponsible.
