The 350 small block in my 1992 GMC Sierra just blew up & I don't have the money to fix it or buy another 350 at the moment, but I have a 4.3 litre V6 out of my 1988 GMC Jimmy 4x4. I already know that it will bolt in with no problem & I'm using the 700R4 transmission from the Jimmy in the truck already (trans in truck was shot when I bought it). I just want to know if my performance will change drastically or if I will barely notice anything, for I can imagine the gearing ratio in my truck differs from gear ratio in the Jimmy. And was wondering if I would get better or worse gas mileage...I'm putting the 4.3 in this weekend so hoping for a quick response, but it isn't necessary...any help at all would be appreciated...Thanks...
