spark plug non foulers are used? I have a 1998 mazda with 200000 miles, and have noticed a drop in MPG's lately. I am currently running a hydrogen generator and a cool air intake. I know that these spark plug "arrestors" or "nonfoulers" are needed to be placed on the O2 sensors to fool the car into not dumping more fuel into the engine with the hydrogen generator running, but at first I was only able to get one non fouler on the first sensor. I was just able to get the nonfoulers on all 4 sensors. to properly wrangle the sensors I took off the catylitic converter, also to see if it was clogged and possibly the gas stealing culprit. So the CAT is somewhat clogged, as it does have over 200000 miles on it. Now I'm wondering, will putting the nonfouler on the post cat O2 sensor trick the computer into thinking it has normal emissions, thus getting me more horsepower and MPG's?
(also how much could you sell a CAT for? If I could get a few bucks I would just buy a new high flow CAT)
(also I live in a state that doesn't do emission testing)
Also, I meant putting the nonfouler on the CAT after punching out its insides
