Will race always be in issue in this election?

I posted two questions within minutes of each other in the same category:
Will there be riots if McCain loses?
Will there be riots if Obama loses?

For the McCain question people answered either "yes" or "no". But for the Obama question people outright called me racist. I didn't add any details to either question, but Obama supporters just assumed there were racial undertones in the question.

I feel a lot of Obama supporters are being extremely hypocritical by wagging their fingers and saying, "Don't be racist!" When they are making their own racial assumptions. Personally I don't think race has really AFFECTED the election but the issue has been omnipresent.
