My grandson goes to a private school, his tuition fee is $7,000 dollars a year. enrollment is increasing every year. He is in the third grade this year he started in pre- school, and now in his fifth year at the school. We all are very proud of his success, now my daughter wants to put him in a school that has a tuition fee of $17,000 dollars a year, she is a single mother with a very good job, my wife an I are able to help her if the need arises. I'm against the move, but my wife is leaning toward the idea. Both school are in a Nashville, Tn suburb Brentwood, my question is if private schools can compete with the government schools why can't private insurance compete with the government?
The point is these schools are what my daughter wants and are willing to pay for it, same with insurance if it is so good, one will be willing to pay for it, my grandson could go to public school for free.
