Will ps3 games from hong kong work on my english ps3?

On ebay there is red dead redemption for cheap but its from hong kong will it work on my playstation 3 from england or will it not allow me to play also will the game be in english or in chinese and subtitled? also will the game case be in english incase i decide to trade it in?
