Will Pontiac Solstice be discontinued?

The Pontiac Solstice page on Wikipedia: "GM has recently cancelled the next generation Solstice and Sky. This also fits in with GM's plan to make Pontiac a "niche" brand." I know you shouldn't trust anything on Wikipedia but does anybody know if this is true? If they did discontinue the Solstice what would be the last model year?

We have had no official word from GM however to make it a niche brand the solstice would qualify for that. I suspect they will do a redesign of it in a year or two.
