You can pretty well bet on it. The government hates competition and Obama will not tolerate a
privately owned auto company making cars to compete with the government built cars.
 
Now that the government owns GM, do you think they will slash the price of GM cars until they run Ford out of business? BUY FORD, they are the last of America's automakers!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Oh they are already driving up the price on replacement parts for our current vehicles, he is going to try and force us all into driving a Obama death trap ! He is with out a doubt the most underhanded sob on the face of the earth ! They can't slash the price of the cars the union makes to much for that ! They cut the quality any more and we will be driving in juice boxes !

Looked at new fords today to replace the GM truck, there wil be no more GM in my house !
 
No. I think they are trying to just get GM back on their feet successfully. Ford didn't take any money from the government so they're ok for now. GM will still operate as they should. Ford goes under it will be due to their own decisions and fair competition.
 
Even if they offer GM at ridiculously low prices, they will lose as the business will not be able to stay afloat. I think that enough people have pride and will choose Ford
 
In National Socialism, the government owns the businesses but allows private management of the business to make it look like it's a free market.

Because GM and Chrysler are owned by the government, that makes more than half of the American market government-controlled under private managers...Ford is not a threat to the government, but falls victim to whatever the government dictates for that market (such as unrealistic fuel standards).

The government now has the banks, transportation, they're going for health care, energy and attacking the food industries with the new laws about home gardening being open to FDA inspection and attempts to make vitamins/supplements available by prescription only.

Anyone who cannot see this country screaming toward National Socialism is blind, uneducated, and apathetic...the perfect slave.

First he'll go after the foreign car companies that have NON-UNION plants in this country. Toyota, Nissan, Honda...those are the guys in the crosshairs.
Now that GM doesn't have to make money to stay in business, they can undercut anyone's price any time they want. So long as Ford has a smaller market share than them, they will leave them alone.

GM has nobody but themselves, their leaders, and their poor business model to blame for bringing the company to its knees. The repercussions of that business failing would have been devastating to the US economy with its widespread ripple effect.

By the way, although Ford assembles its vehicles in this country, most of its parts are manufactured in China. Bite on that apple!
