will my nationality will be of any help for medical education in england?

hello, i am an Irish national but at the age of 6 moved to my native land in Asia. now i am a second year medical student. after graduating i want to do my post graduation from the U.K. will i be preferred over other overseas students or not? also please tell me the the medical system for post graduation in the U.K. a derailed answer will be very very helpful
