Will my husband citizenship status prevent me from joining the Army?

I have been married 5 years to my husband. We are in the process of getting his legal residency. We already have an approved I-130 Petition, and we are in the process of getting his appointment to go to Ciudad Juarez.
We have two young children, 1 1/2 and 2 years.
I plan to join the Active US Army, but I want to know if my husbands current status will affect my chances, opportunities, or benifits. Will it be enough to show the Army his Approved Immigration Petition and any papers showing that he is correctly completing the process?

I would like to speak with someone with some experience in the Army or Recuiting if possible. Thank you so much. Please, be kind to me and treat me with respect, or do not answer. Thank you again.

My brother's wife was an English National when he married her. It didn't have any effect on his service in the Army.

You also answered your own question. Talk to a recruiter and they'll be able to fill you in. Unless you live in the deepest woods, there is probably a recruiter within 2o miles of you.
