I bought my Honda accord from my sister a year ago with about 85000 kilometers on it in decent condition and I changed oil from mineral to synthetic . My Mechanic says changing the oil at 85000 kms is okay but at 150000 he said it's better to keep using the same oil. My cousin and my friend who is a mechanic both tell me to use super gas 91 octane because they say it is cleaner for the engine and less junk will built up in the engine and that my car will last longer. On my owners manuel it recomends 87 octane and that's what I am going to start to put.
