Will my GM 10 bolt 7.5" hold up with a spool?

I have a 1978 Buick Regal with a 383 stroker and turbo 350 automatic that dyno's around 350 rear wheel HP. It has the factory GM 10-bolt 7.5" rear end, which is the weaker of the 10-bolts. I am having problems with overpowering the "one-wheel-wonder" and would like to lock the rear end. Will this axle hold up if I put in a mini-spool?
