will my dog die if it eats his squeaky duck toy?

i got my dog this new squeaky dog toy so tonight i let him have it for himself and he ate his head off so will he die
 
It really depends on the kind of toy and the size of the dog. If it was a toy that was like a stuffed animal with a squeeky thing inside, then it should be okay. If it was all plastic, like a bath toy, then (also depending on the sizes of the peices he ate) he could have some problems. if they were small peices then I wouldn't worry too much. I have a labrodor retriever that has completely digested socks, earplugs, wetwipes, and toys, and pooped them out with no problems! if your dog starts to get a hard spot on his belly or is acting unusual, you should have him checked out. I wouldn't worry though.
 
How big is your dog? How big was the toy? Why would you leave him un-supervised with his toys? I don't think he can die, but then again it depends on the size of your dog and the size of the toy. If it were a Chihuahua eating a big toy, then she will have a hard time digesting it. If it were a St. Bernard with a tiny toy, then he will eventually throw it up or digest it. Either way, CALL YOUR VET. IT'S FREE!
 
As long as it comes out and there are no sharp pieces that can cut him inside. You should be fine. Call your dr to discuss.

But you want to watch his poop, use a stick to move it around and make sure it comes out. Sorry ot sounds gross, but its that or an expensive xray.
 
um duh! are you dumb? could u eat a squeaky duck toy and live? i think not! if you couldn't your dog sure as heck couldn't! i am a professional i know these things
