will my check card/debit card work at any atm machine?

Generally, you can use your card as a "debit" at any location nationwide, it will work. (Check to see if there are any fees from your bank about that. Some old time banks charge for this. If so, find one that doesn't). With the ATM withdrawals, it will work almost at any ATM, however for sure you bank charges for this, $2 or $3 a pop, and for sure the ATM you use, if it's not owned by American Bank will also charge you. The fees will be shown before you can get money out.
 
i have american savings bank, do i need to go to the american savings bank atm machine its far away can i go to the one at the gas station to withdraw money but thats not american savings?can you use any atm machine?
