Well my car was running fine and on Saturday i got it washed and i asked for an engine steam clean, i'd never had one before....anyway, the guys put de greaser and washed the engine and used those jet washers on it....they told me after to leave the engine on, so i drove it for about 40 minutes.
Since then, my car has been doing this funny thing - it's fine when i'm driving, but when im slowing down for the lights, and let's say, i'm going down from 4th gear to 1st gear, my oil light, battery light come on together and the car just comes to a stop, and i have to start the car again - it's really annoying.
I'vev'e read that when you have the engine cleaned, some electrics can get wet and this could be the reason, and i have to wait for them to dry, but it's been 3 days now - although it's not doing it as much, this weird thing is still happening.
Anyone ever had this happen? thanks.
I have topped up with oil recently and the battery is fine - this has only been happening since the jet wash.
