Will my 95 toyota tercel make the commute?

I have a 1995 Toyota Tercel with less than 70,000 miles on it. I've put at least $3,000 of repairs in it since I got it three years ago. It has two year old tires and runs ok but has been overheating when I idle. After getting that fixed...do you think it will last me my commute to school everyday for a year which is about 32 minutes of highway commute each way? Thanks!
 
i have a toyota passo with 320,000 miles and dont spend any thing on it and its runing good so i think its safe to say that your with only 70,000 will be just fine
