I dont know if you guys have been reading, but the chinese are now demanding higher wages, better working conditions. Is it possible that some companies will return manufacturing of goods back to the US.

Already seeing it. Companies that have shifted production to the US in recent years include Vizio, Harman group, National Semiconductor and Cisco.

There also needs to be a public demand for goods made in the usa.
I read labels all the time, and if I have the option to buy made in the usa I do, even if at a higher cost. I bought a nice Moen faucet for the bathroom that was made in the usa that wasn't really more than rabroad
her options by taking a second to read labels. I did pay $10 each for 2 made in the USA Cresent wrenches when the Lowes house made in china brand was 3 for $10.
You can find plenty of made in the usa stuff if you look, for example theres no reason to buy socks and tshirts that werent made in the usa, they are easy to find.

Fixed.

Unions were powerful for like 60-70 years before manufacturing moved over seas

you can pay americans $30 an hour and they'll still bitch and moan and do half ass work.

that's the thing, americans feel so entitled now, we've all learned to feel we're above those jobs.
