Will ketchup INSIDE your iPhone speakers ever harden or anything?

Last week I accidentally dropped my iPhone in just a little bit of ketchup. I tried to clean it up as good as I could. I think some ketchup went inside my speakers because the bottom of the phone is what fell in it. So now my volume is turned all the way up but sounds like it's on the lowest volume. So will the ketchup break apart or anything in a couple weeks or do I need to take it to apple? =\
