I'm interested in medicine/engineering but I am currently stuck in an electrical trade for 4 years now, I'm leaning now towards medicine because my trade has opened my eyes as to how engineering really is (working with them all the time). I haven't completed school, I was an A-B average student. My idea is to do a Diploma of Health Science via part time for the last 2 years of my apprenticeship (which from my understanding is the equivalent of finishing school and getting an OP 1). My question is will James Cook Uni even look at me, I'll be 21 when I apply for the Bachelor degree? How hard will it be to cope with Uni work load and a trade work load? Any ideas on getting around this?
