Jeep Cherokee? I currently have 235/75/15 -sized tires on my 2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport. The problem is I can readily get 225s more cheaply and quickly than 235s for the same tire. How much more traction will I actually gain by installing 235s over 225s?
Most of my driving is on-road, with the exception of the gravel road where I live. I'm more concerned about ice/snow/rain traction this winter in northern Indiana. Are 235s better because they're bigger, but how much better? Will I really notice? Do 235s use much more gas than 225s because they're wider? Thanks!
