Will I need to repay back my financial aide if i take a semester off?

I took out a government loan during my 1st year of college (last year). I'm paying for school ALL on my own and realizing there is a huge gap of money between what I need and what my government loan will cover when I transfer to a 4 year university. I already work 40+ hours and can't afford to cut my hours during the fall semester to take classes. This is why I'm wondering, if I take off the fall semester will I have to start paying on my loans? I will be attending again in the spring. Will I have to repay them if I take the fall off?

Any advice would help!
