Will I need overreach/bell boots if my horse gets shoes?

Unless he's overreaching, or your shoes are especially long behind (as egg bar shoes sometimes are) you shouldn't need them. If you turn him out in pasture a lot though, you may want to get a pair of cheap pull on bell boots, as many horses overreach when galloping around in pasture, and a $10 (http://www.doversaddlery.com/easy-stretch-bell-boots/p/X1-0410/cn/120/) pair for preventative measures may be worth the cost.

he will probly be fine. i had a thoroughbred that always over reached but only pulled a show like 3 times but we never used bell boot, your horse will be fine but it wouldnt hurt. just make sure if you do get them, make sure that they dont rub sores on the back of your horses feet.
