my computer to sync with? I recently had a bad crash on my computer which deleted my i-tunes library. Unfortunately I didnt have this backed up. I am not sure, will whatever files are on my i-pod be deleted if I only check certain files to sync?

Alternatively, is it possible to take media from the ipod and save it back onto my computer? Experts please!!

yea, if u try and sync your itunes library that is empty to ur ipod it will delete everything on ur i pod. And for ur second question, no u cannot put files from ur i pod to ur pc.

Your best bet is to try and re-download everything with limewire and get back some of those files back into ur itunes

yup if you sync to a new itunes, with no files it will take every thing off your iPod ... but don't sync , your on the right track firstly look for software that will take music off your ipod, dunno if your Mac or windows google there's loads of free apps for that.

once you have the retrieved music songs , load them onto Itunes then sync.

it's kinda good to have back ups of stuff, for this situation.
