Riding a bike will give you thunder thighs if you are constantly pedaling with your bike uphill. if you would like to shape and firm your butt, ride on a flat surface with high gear. This way you are actually pumping blood and toning not pushing or lifting weight of your body with the bike.

Ok, lol, I know that's kind of a weird question. I jog/run for 2 and a half hours on my treadmill every evening (I know that sounds like alot, but I have alot of energy and like to jog), but I always have to fight with my sis' over who gets to use the treadmill when. Since we argue over equipment and I would like to try something new anyway, I was thinking about purchasing an indoor bike and start doing that instead. Will I get big thighs? I mean, I have muscular thighs right now, but they are subtle and not abnoxiously muscular. If i keep the bike on a low resistence, can I bike for a couple of hours a day withought getting massive leg muscles? Is it good cardiovascular like jogging is? Hope my question wasn't confusing..any suggestions or comments would be appreciated!

no it will shape them though and make them look great.

riding the bike is fine. its cardio so it is good for your whole body and it will trim your thighs not make them bigger or more muscular

I have never seen people get obnoxiously large thighs from biking, I would start doing it and then if you notice your thighs are getting bigger, just make sure to go on the internet and search Thin Thighs Program, and you might also want to switch up the biking days, (don't bike every day) You'll be fine!
