Will I get less financial aid now that I am married?

I'm worried if I will qualify for less amounts of financial aid now that I am married. My EFC was 15996 for the following school year and it has never been that high before. I really don't understand the whole EFC thing and was wondering what it is also. My husband made a lot of money last year but got laid off because of this economy and now makes less than half of that. I'm scared because of his income last year if I will get less assisstance financially because of this.
 
Probably. If you qualified for Pell grants or other need-based aid before you will not this year. You will still be offered stafford loans though and you'll have the same borrowing limits that you did before.
