Hi Everyone i did a Fraud. Taking someone checks. and putting my name on it . And bring it to the bank and put it in the atm. and i have to go Court soon i was wondering if i can pay the bank back. And i live in toronto and the fraud is $3000. And i never did some ting be for.

If I'm the Judge, yep, you're going to the big house.

It all depends on how good your lawyer is. You might get away with some probation and restitution, but 3K qualifies as a felony, so I doubt the Judge is going to go lightly on you unless your lawyer has some sway with him.

Depends on the bank and the judge if they want to make an example out of you or not.

Also depends how bad the crime is in Toronto.

I know the judge will ask for restitution, paying the money back plus reasonable bank expenses for the crime.

The judge can add court costs, a fine, a sentence, both, or probation.

Most view this a non-violent crime, you did not rob a teller at gun point.

So the judge will be more leinent to you.

I would guess that you will get a stern warning from the judge, court costs, and a restitustion order.

If you are an ordinary person you will probably get jail time. If you are some high ranking politician or some wealthy big shot you won't. So I take it you are neither wealthy or a politician. So good luck.
