I am in a grade 11, non-semestered school. For our first term report cards I had an 85% average. If you take my best seven courses, my average would be 89%. The problem is that I have a 50% in English. Not because I am illiterate, but because shit happens. I will bring my english mark up to a 85%+ by the end of the year.
I was just wondering if first term grade 11 counts for university acceptance. What do universities look at? Will my first-term english mark even be seen? Will it limit my chances, or is there still a possibility? Please help.
