...BADLY needed to go to? i was needing to get the support modified because of my low income...
i petitioned for this at the first part of the year, and they drug their feet up until just last week...
to make a long story short, i had been away to national guards for 2 weeks and when i came back, and needed to go to the hearing, my motorcycle battery was dead.
i would NEVER intentionally miss a hearing...i needed this hearing.

i have NEVER been in trouble with the law, (i'm 40 yrs. old)...and i've always tried to walk the straight and narrow. i am so worried to even contact the court and explain, or reschedule or whatever i can do...i'm worried they will put me in jail.

the letter i got from the courts a few days later said something about a "cash bond of $250"...i am so scared! i don't even have 250! i don't even have 50!

what do i do?
i just started my 4-yr college degree in elementary education...yesterday was my first day. if i get put in jail, i will get dropped from school !

go to the court house and see the judge.explain your situation.if you made no effort to call them to reschedule.you are screwed.in my state,they take your license and throw you in jail.
 
I think that you should just bring in documents stating that you were doing your duty for the US military if this is the first time you should be ok. Nothing works without prayer and if your telling the truth why worry
