Heres my situation-
Im getting the HTC HD2 unlocked at a very good price from a friend. I know that AT&T knows when you use an Iphone, LG, Samsung, etc etc phone from their company on their network. So my question is if I use my SIM card in a T-Mobile phone, will they still know and try to incur the 30$ minimum monthly data fee? I wouldnt use the internet enough to warrant 30$ a month which is why.
I am aware that using an AT&T SIM on another phone makes it so you cant use their 3G network for internet browsing. It doesnt really matter to me because Id only use the internet if it were on WIFI, which is why 3G is useless to me. Im always at work and my work has free WIFI, as well as my home.
