Will i be charged for these minutes after 9 with verizon?

i have a family plan with 2100 minutes and i called someone at 8, so does it stop taking minutes after 9 or do i have to make the call after 9???
 
Once it its exactly 9:00, you will not use your minutes as long as you are calling in the USA. If you called someone at 8 and talked for 5 minutes, you will now only have 2195 minutes left.
