Hello, folks.
Today, I am here to ask a hopefully simple question:
If I take my Android device (HTC Desire) on U.S. Cellular and plug it into my Mac via USB, without having a plan to use my phone as a wireless modem, will I be charged for using the phone for Internet access? I have a 5 GB data plan, and I already know that if I go over, I'll be charged for it. I'm just wanting to know if it will charge me specifically for using it as a modem. I would call U.S. Cellular customer support, but they're closed right now. I can try the tech support 24 hour line if I don't get an answer though.
