Will I be allowed to have a pet fish in college?

Do you think I could sneak something more cuddly in like a hamster? I just can't imagine living without a single animal to care for.

My sis is in Princeton and she can keep a pet. It is your responsibility. Keep in mind that your roomate might have allergies to shedding or some pets.

Do you fish poop big on the carpet, or bark loudly at 3am when others are trying to sleep? This is the kind of thing that you should consider when taking a pet to college.

Well fish are ok or if you have a disability a dog is ok but if not fish.

The college that I used to live at allowed students to have a fish, and I think even turtles. As long as it is an animal that always stays enclosed and your roommate doesn't oppose, you should have no problem. Good luck in college! =)

yes a fish shouldn't be a problem... it sits on your desk,

I have a friend who has a beta (or siamese fighting fish) thats been alive over 2 years now..
mine lasted 6 months until I gave it to a friend to watch and it died in her care.

betas have personality too! I don't know about a hamster though, or a bird.. but
you rebellious college types will get creative, rules (like this) are made to be broken.
ha ha ha
