will i be able to cut a standard tmobile sim for an Iphone 4 locked to tmobile?

i bought an iphone 4 locked to tmobile uk from ebay. im a tmobile customer and have the standard sim. if i cut this sim into a micro sim, will my plan work perfectly?? thanks
