Will hooking up a capacitor to far from the amps make a huge diffrence?

I have two amps and a capacitor but the capacitor power cord is a good 3 or 4 feet away from the amps but they sound kinda good now will getting rid of the unneeded extra power wire from the capacitor and moving it like 1 foot away from the amps make a diffrence??
