Will Honda S2000 engine work in a Acura RSX? or No?

yes it will fit fine mostly any honda/ acura motor will exchange fine its like we put a k20 in an integra so ya its fine u mite have to fab. some mounts but wat i really recomend is to put a turboed k20 u can gettim pretty cheap at jdmaddiction.com they have like any import motor already turboed from japan wit like 50000 miles or less for like 600
 
Kenny, S2000's have more power than RSX's no one was talking about NSX's. Anyway, why would you want to waste all of that money on the RSX? You would be building almost a whole new sub floor for it, none of the interior would work afterward. You would have to have a whole S2000 available to chop up into bits and to steal parts from. Engine, tranny, rear end, computer, on and on would have to be used from the S2000.
If you want to make power with the RSX start out simple first, Tune it up, let it breathe better and give it better exhaust. After that, (hopefully its a stick shift and not auto-stick) add a short shifter, poly engine mounts. If you want to go big after, swap out the cam in the engine, turbo or supercharge it. You want to get the best bang for your buck so don't start off crazy.
 
The S2000 motor is specifically built for a rear driver and the RSX is a front driver.

But never say never; I'm sure that a master fabricator could make it all work.

The only problem would be that it's an awful lot of horsepower to put through a lightweight front wheel drive car.
 
Why would you do that? Why would you put a smaller motor with less power than what the NSX originally came with? That is retarded. That would be like buying a Shelby GT 500 and putting a 6 cylinder engine in it. What are you trying to gain by doing this?
 
You can make almost any engine fit into any car. It just requires a HUGE amount of fabrication. In this case, your better off selling the rsx and just buying an s2000. Otherwise, i wouldn't attempt this.
