I am a new recruit in the navy, currently in dep. I have already gone through meps, and im scheduled to be sent off for training on 15 of February this year. I'm currently enlisted to be trained as an aircrewman.
they checked me out at meps, everything they said was fine, nothing abnormal. this was in early June. a few months later in December I go to the doctors for some back pain. they took some xrays and concluded that i have scoliosis. I sent the documents to the recruiter who said i was still able to go. now on my second visit for back pain about a week ago, my doctor prescribed me 500mg of a painkiller, and 10mg of flexeril to take every night before i go to bed.
Flexeril is a muscle relaxant and is supposed to make me really tired. So I was wondering if that would get me discharged from the navy. My recruiter said he didn't know and would have to send the documents to some other people to decide. I was wondering what some of you think while I wait for that to happen.
