Will having a silver camera instead of black affect concert photography?

Alright, so I recently bought a canon eos digital rebel xsi. But the store I went to was out of stock. I've waited 3 weeks and it just so happened I bought it the day it went on sale- and so did everyone else. They said that if I wait for a black one it will be another month, but that they have silver in stock. I know it's the same camera but will having a silver camera affect the lighting in shots taken at concerts? I'm looking to get into photojournalism and my dad says it will.
I don't really have a problem with it being silver, but I don't want it reflecting light all over the place. Will it?

Well it might mean its more noticable so your more likely to get it confiscated.

Well it's silver, but it's not polished to a mirror finish. :D Whether you're wearing light or dark clothes would have a greater impact on the lighting in a scene, but the difference would be vanishingly subtle most of the time, and in practical terms, impossible to account for, predict, or change. It's not something you have to worry about.
