I'm going to be flying Argentina (EZE) to Mexico City (MEX) on AeroMexico #31. Then Mexico City (MEX) to Montreal (YUL) on AeroMexico #680.
Mexico City (MEX) has two terminals. If you have to switch terminals, you have to exit secure area through customs and immigration, then you have to go through security again. But I think that since both my flights are AeroMexico, I might arrive and depart from the same terminal - meaning I might not have to leave the secure area. Is that the case?
This is especially important because I'm traveling with my dog. Canada only needs a rabies vaccination certificate, but Mexico wants a couple other pieces of documentation. I think if I don't have to go through customs and immigration in Mexico, then I won't need to get the extra documentation for my dog. (It's especially complicated because I read that Mexico requires a health certificate written by vet within 72 hours of the flight, which will be hard for me to get).
Any ideas? Thanks!
