My hair is dark ash blonde and I wanna go a couple shades lighter but I'm all about looking natural so I was wondering if I dyed my hair the shade that I want will it make my hair one solid color (I don't want that) or will my natural highlights and tints still be in my hair? I don't know much about dying my hair because I've never dyed it before but it obviously looks more natural when someone has different shades in their hair of a color such as, some strands being darker, some being lighter, than just one solid color. And her hair has all these different tints in it after she dyed it. I thought hair dye dyes your hair one solid color or am I wrong? If not how did her hair turn out like that and how can I make mine like that?
P.S. I don't want my hair as blonde as hers, I just want to make my hair lighter while keeping those natural highlights and tints...
