Will droid x work in a cricket tri-band Area?

is there anyway possible to get the Droid x to work in a cricket Tri-band Area, like if i got a cricket plan, or a special flash or what, IS THERE ANYWAY POSSIBLE TO USE A droid x in a cricket triband area!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! cuz i heard you need a tri-band phone, to work in a cricket Tri-band Area is it true or is thre a way??
