I had what I assumed to be my period about 12 days after my unprotected encounter. However, it was heavy with clots but not as heavy as usual. I am wondering if I could still be pregnant. I have heard that this type of bleeding, decidual bleeding, will affect the results of an hpt (urine test), but I am unclear as to whether or not it messes up your hormones enough to produce a false negative blood test from a doctor? please help. thank you all very much
Okay. well I had a blood test done and it was negative. I would be three weeks pregnant by now. The blood test would pick up the hormone by now...correct?
