Will Cricket accept a Bad ESN due to unpaid phone bills on verizon?

It looks like someone has looked around hard enough to find something he wanted to hear.

No one on here said that it was impossible in the Chicago market. What they said was the phone was AWS. Therefore, only AWS phones will work in that market.

If you keep searching, that has been repeated several times. If you want to believe a Cricket rep that most likely can't even refresh an account for a customer, by all means go ahead and purchase that phone and see what happens after you flash it.

seriously? ya know it helps a lil more without the sarcasm. thats like me telling u that a psp 3000 can be flashed. ok thats good but how? if u cant do it dont bother commenting telling me it can be done

Nothing personal against Cricket as a whole. They have great phone service and plans. But their phones aren't the greatest. That is the first argument I have for a flashed phone.

The second argument is the fact that if flashing isn't a very good deal, then why am I flashing close to 100 phones a week? Are all of those people horrible bargain hunters??

I think you missed his point, he is saying that it's been mentioned and discussed many times. It helps if you search buddy.

You can flash a phone in an AWS market, but the phone has to be an AWS phone. Why? Because the phones radio operates differently. If you flashed a regular to Cricket and were in an AWS market, you will be roaming as you would be in other provider's network (if roaming coverage). Now if you took an AWS phone from like MetroPCS and flashed it to cricket. it will work and not be roaming as it will be using the AWS cricket network.

Simply said, if you have an AWS phone it can be flashed To Cricket's AWS markets using an AWS prl. that simple. there's your how to

Ok, so we've clarified that phones with past due balances don't pose a problem for flashing....what about stolen phones? The only reason I ask is because I just started working for CricKet about a month ago as an Indirect Services Specialist and after visiting our territory, I'm concerned this could be a huge issue.

Good point...and yes, we are in an AWS market so it won't matter much.

Regarding PCS markets though, this could be an issue and a half....well, not for CricKet...but the carrier who's phones were ripped off
