Will Cineworld put their prices up on 1st April

Prices of too many commodities going up these days when incomes are being squeezed.

Hope Cineworld go bust when they eventually price themselves out.

Serves em right.

If there is a price change will it effect existing holders of the Cineworld card, i.e will out monthly subs be put up?? Or will it just be those who join after April the 1st.

I agree. This card is really for people that go a lot. If you go and see just one film a week you are saving money. I think it pays to get it on a monthly basis as you can cancel it f you find that you don't go so much. Last year I was still paying monthly but didn't go for months and months because my lifestyle changed. I kept meaning too, but never managed too.
I worked out to break even and get back what I paid out I needed to see 22 films.
In February I managed to start getting to the cinema again. I saw the two per month that the price covers plus another 3 that I was owed. This month I've seen my two and will be claiming back 3 before the end of the month.

I think if you know or think you aren't going to get your money's worth it makes sense to pay monthly when you think you can. Let it lapse/cancel it during tje down months and get it again during the summer blockbuster season.
That way you will get more value for money from it.

hmmm
why don't you go to another cinema instead of cineworld then?
try an independent local cinema, there are usually alternatives to cineworld or other chains, and if they are not showing the films you want, then ask them to.

Another quick question about Cineworld and their unlimited scheme.

I've already got the card and in May my local Cineworld is finally getting the 3D projectors in to show 3D films.

Other cinemas I've been to charge extra for the 3rd screening - can you still use the Unlimited card to see 3D films at Cineworld?

i was wrong in what i said...prices at cinema world are going up! i just found out today whilst i was there.
i'd get your card now. Not sure if the price raise will effect the carRAB though!

Is this price rise only for the Unlimited CarRAB, or are they raising their regular ticket prices again too?

It doesn't seem like that long since they last hiked them up...

i do not i'm afraid - i just heard the ticket seller telling the people in front of me about a price rise. and a notice which i only got a glimpse of. i was rushing to see a film before it started.

I've had my card for nearly 3 years now and usually if they put their prices up, you get a warning letter at least a month in advance (maybe more). I've not had a letter informing of the price increase so hopefully it won't go up this year!

The card is definitely more for the people who go a lot, I try and go at least once a week - the most I think in a week was 3 or 4 times, which more than paid for my
