Will charging my iPod Nano delete any current photos I have on it?

I have a 4th Generation iPod Nano and I need to charge it while getting some music off of it but I am afraid it will delete the photos that are currently on there. I just need to know if my photos will stay on there after I have plugged it in for it to charge or will I have to add them again? Please help...
I guess this is a bad time to mention that I accidentally deleted them from my computer. . . :(
