Will Canadians still be able to watch American TV after February 17th 2009?

I read that the U.S will be switching all TV broadcasting from analog to digital on 02/17/09. What will that mean for Canadians? will we still be able to watch American Television as normal ? Or will we have to purchase a digital receiver?
 
If you're watching via cable or satellite, then you're fine. Everything will still work. If you are picking up the signal using an antenna, then you'll need to have a digital tv/receiver.
