Will bitter blackberries be okay in jam?

I've found some blackberries growing wild in the woods, and I was SO excited because the wild blackberries that usually grow in the back of my yard were dug up this year.

The only problem is, these blackberries have a really bitter aftertaste! They look a little different than my blackberries, and they are turning ripe about a month later, so they're definitely a different variety... maybe they're dewberries?

Anyway, I'm wondering if they will taste okay in jam or jelly even though they aren't good to eat raw.
These aren't sour like they just aren't ripe yet... they're definitely bitter. Even the biggest, blackest ones. I've read that there is no poisonous drupes (berries with lots of little dots like blackberries and raspberries) so I'm hoping that information was correct. If I never respond after this, you may assume the worst. Lol :P
