Will Biking & Elliptical help me lose 25 pounds?

Hi, I'm a 14 year old girl that is 5'5 & 145 pounds. I'm 25 pounds over weight & i'd like to lose that extra weight. Can biking & elliptical help me lose? If I cut down on the soda, & other fatty foods and junk.. can you predict how much I'll lose about? & how long do i need to do these excersises? well i appreciatte you reading! <3 - and i want to lose this in 2 months if not 3. :)
 
It will deffinately help. I had the same problem. You're not going to be able to lose 25 pounds in 2 months though. I had a tough time doing 15 pounds in two months. I biked everyday for 20 minutes at a steady 20 mph. Also, check out a calorie calculator to see how many calories you should be consuming each day. Try not to go over that amount! Keep on with that and you'll be good to go. :]

You are NOT 25 pounds overweight. You are, in fact, at a perfect weight for your height. If you want to get healthy, and lose INCHES, then change your eating habits, and exercise. I would suggest walking for an hour a day. Throw away your scale, and concentrate on the pants you want to fit into.
