I dont want to buy theres because it is too expensive, i have the 13" unibody macbook for 1300 dollers that came out in late 2008. I have 2gb ram but i want to add 4gb, i am pretty good with computers and i think i could add it my self but i realy dont want to take a chance. So will apple add it if i pay them.

Probably not.

They are very strict on what they can and cannot do.

But, I will say that there is almost no chance that you can screw up a memory installation on a macbook. Just remove the ram slot cover and install it just like any other stick of ram.
