Looking back at former Democratic presidents, the least jobs per year that has been achieved was by Bill Clinton. He would have made even more jobs, were it not for the fact that in his second term the unemployment rate was at a rate that economists had previously considered literally impossibly low.
Among Republican presidents, the most jobs per year record belongs to Nixon. And, despite being the best GOP president in terms of jobs created, he still created less jobs than Clinton did per year.
Do you suppose that a Republican president will ever manage to match the job creation levels of even the least of the Democratic presidents?
